Do I need an account?
No. Recursa works fully offline without one, for as long as you like. An account adds sync between your devices, households and friends.
Which repeat rule should I pick?
Every… for a fixed rhythm. On days for set weekdays, like bin day. Day of month for dates like the rent. After I finish when the next time should count from when you actually did it, like descaling the coffee machine.
What happens when I miss a reminder?
It stays overdue until you mark it done or skip it. Skipping keeps your streak, and doing it late still counts.
My reminders arrive late, or not at all.
Some phones pause apps in the background to save battery. In Recursa, open Settings › Reminder reliability, allow notifications and let Recursa run in the background.
How do households work?
A household shares chores with the people you live with. Everyone in it sees the chores, and anyone can tick them off. A household needs an account, and your personal reminders stay private either way.
I am going on holiday. Will everything turn overdue?
Not if you tell Recursa. Settings › Away pauses your reminders for the dates you pick.
How do I get my data out?
Settings › Export data saves everything to a file you can import again. You can also export your reminders to your calendar.
Is there an iPhone version?
It is on its way. Right now Recursa is being tested on Android.
Can I use Recursa in German?
Yes. It follows your phone's language, or you can pick a language for Recursa alone in Android's app settings.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Settings › Delete account, or by email. All the details
