Delete your account
You can delete your Recursa account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, and what is kept.
In the app
- Open Recursa and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Settings › Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
This is immediate and cannot be undone.
Without the app
Email us from the address registered to the account and we will delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted
- Your account: email address, password hash, username and display name
- Your reminders, notes and categories
- Completion history, streaks and achievements
- Friendships and notification tokens
What is kept
- Reminders you created inside a shared household stay with that household, because they belong to the shared list rather than to you alone.
- Completion records in a shared household are kept, but no longer linked to you.
- Feedback you sent us stays in our mailbox, like any other email.
- Crash reports, if you turned them on, are kept by Google for 90 days. They were never linked to your account.
Never made an account?
Then everything is on your phone and nowhere else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes all of it.
Only want to remove some data?
You can delete single reminders, categories or a whole household in the app at any time, without deleting your account. Signing out deletes nothing: it ends the session on that device and keeps your local reminders.
You can also ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected. More in the privacy policy.
